The Jim Riley Outreach, Inc. hosts a transition home for ladies who are committed to an extremely structured, sober and productive lifestyle.

Through the sober living/mentoring homes, individuals find accountability, structure, encouragement and Christian guidance.  Women are encouraged to mentor to one another and pass on the healing they have learned.  There are 4 women who are able to live in the house at a time under supervision of a trained biblical counselor. The home is clean and has all the amenities one would want in a home of their own and then some.

"At the Parker House, I have found a new life, one in which I wake up every morning no longer in agony at the thought of surviving another day, but with a joy-filled grateful that God is allowing me to walk in His light for yet another day. Here I am taught to take things slowly, to savor each day...and I can't stop smiling at the wonder and beauty of it all!" Parker House resident

Women are taught how to live in sobriety and are required, but not limited to the following:

  • Participate in random drug/alcohol testing
  • Work outside the home
  • Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the home and grounds
  • Attend daily meetings as directed by the mentor
  • Attend the Christian Church of their choice
  • Follow curfew
  • Effective May 1, 2012, Parker House will be a tobacco-free facility.
